We are seeking a full-time Service Assistant III who is responsible for cash, dining card and credit card handling, accounting for sales, and reconciliation of register drawer

Shifts will vary/rotate working the following schedules: 5:30am-2:00pm; 6:00am-2:30pm; 6:30am-3:00pm; 8:30am-5:00pm; 10:30am-7:00pm; 11:00am-7:30pm. Every other weekend and holiday are required.
Please note shifts can change at any time due to business need.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reconciles cash drawer to verify receipt of appropriate bank.
Operates Point of Sale system, collects payments from customers and provides change and receipt in an efficient, accurate, and courteous manner
Processes credit cards, dining cards, meal vouchers, and special authorization vouchers for proper charge of accounts.
Uses “Counterfeit Money Detector Pen” for bills greater or equal to $20.00.
Follows proper cash handling procedures; cashier shortages and overages kept within standards, transactions made according to PLU diagrams.
