Job Description


Job Summary:
Maintain and clean all dishes, pots, pans, and utensils as well as entire kitchen areas keeping up OSHA standards at all times.

Responsibility/Duties:
Assume 100% responsibility for cleanliness of wares
Daily ware washing and storage of F&B items in a safe and efficient manner
Maintain par levels of service ready wares on a consistent basis
Adhere to practices that maintain the highest level of health, hygiene, and safety
Maintain general cleanliness of all kitchen areas
Load, run, and unload machines
Report any mechanical problems to manager immediately
Bag and haul kitchen trash to dumpster
Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss
Monitor machine water temperature and chemical levels to ensure sanitary wash cycle

Work Product:
Daily Checklist
Kitchen areas being clean to OSHA standards

Performance Measurement:
Attendance
Supervisor / manager inspections
Uniform and name tag

Qualifications:
Positive attitude
Ability to take direction and ask questions if needed
Ability to reach/bend/stoop and frequently lift up to 40 lbs
Ability to work in standing position for long periods of time
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to work in hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time
Ability to work flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends
